Cracked Foundations and Moisture Intrusion
Concrete can crack anywhere in and around your home. Cracks can be small, difficult-to-detect hairline cracks, or wider, gaping cracks. They can extend vertically or horizontally, through concrete, CMU block, plaster, and even brick foundations. Oftentimes these cracks are accompanied by moisture intrusion into the home, though not always. No matter what the crack looks like or where it is located, if it is in the foundation, it should be addressed by a trusted foundation repair professional using a foundation-grade product.

Epoxy Injections - Most cracks in the foundation can and should be injected with a foundation grade epoxy injection material. If the main concern in the affected area is moisture intrusion, a waterproofing polyfoam material can be used. If the concern is structural, a structural epoxy resin may be recommended instead. Either way, these injections should always be installed by a trained professional, to ensure that the cracks have been fully injected and properly sealed and will not cause future foundation issues down the line.
Epoxy Paint - Occasionally the cracking or the moisture intrusion is located in a more porous material than your standard concrete foundation. In cases like this, we have epoxy products that are designed for a spray application. This technique ensures that the surface area is covered with a foundation-grade waterproof epoxy material that will block all moisture intrusion and safely seal the foundation walls.
Epoxy Paste - Other common concrete foundation issues are spalling, flaking, or scaling. If these issues extend deep enough, it may require a concrete patch. However, if it has not progressed to that depth, an epoxy paste can smooth out the concrete and restore structural integrity. Our hardworking epoxy paste products are also an integral part of our epoxy injection repairs.
